Buyer’s Guide for Dental Insurance and Discount Dental Plans

Browse Common Concerns:

Cosmetic Dental Insurance

Cosmetic dental insurance refers to dental plans that include cosmetic benefits. General and restorative dentistry addresses necessary and preventive dental procedures, while cosmetic dentistry focuses on a person's smile, teeth and mouth. You can save money on all sorts of cosmetic procedures; read below to find out how.

Do you have dental plans with cosmetic benefits?

Yes we do. We have dental plans that cover a range of cosmetic benefits, including dental implants, teeth whitening  and veneers.  Use our convenient cosmetic filter on the left of our Quote Results page to locate cosmetic dental insurance available in your area.

How much does a dental plan that covers cosmetic dentistry cost?

We have dental plans with cosmetic benefits as low as $8.95/month. To check for cosmetic dental options go to the Get Quote box to the right of this page, enter your age and zip code, and within seconds you will have a listing of available plans in your area.

Why don't more carriers offer dental insurance for cosmetic procedures?

Many dental insurance carriers prefer focusing on oral health and preventive services rather than elective procedures.  Since cosmetic dentistry's primary purpose is improving smiles, many companies choose not to offer those benefits. Fortunately, we have many dental insurance plans with cosmetic benefits available nationwide.
